Job Title: Event Coordinator

Full time, temporary maternity leave replacement starting March 2012

Job Summary
Ensure all fundraising objectives are achieved. Project strategist for all major annual events.  Liaison between the Residence and numerous community organizations and their activities.

Minimum of 2 years experience in the field of event planning and/or non- profit fundraising. Related educational training is an asset.

Job Requirements
Proven expertise is required in the areas of:

· Interpersonal, diplomacy skills

· Organizational and multi-tasking skills

· Working in a fast paced, team environment

· English and French verbal skills, English written communication skills.

· Computers -  including word, excel, publisher and/or illustrator (website maintenance an asset)

· Applicants must have a valid driver’s licsense.

Pay competitive with market and commensurate with experience.
